Our Otzi ModRack Wedge Mounting Bracket is designed to provide you with endless mounting possibilities, from Hi-Lift Jacks, to MaxTrax, our Otzi ModRack Road Shower, to propane tanks, fire extinguishers, and more. 

Our Otzi ModRack Top Platform is the exterior storage solution you’ve been searching for! One of the biggest challenges every overlander will face is how to fit all of their camping and recovery gear inside their vehicle. No matter how space efficient you are, there’s always something that is difficult or downright impossible to fit. The ModRack Top Platform is specifically designed to solve this problem.

The ModRack Top Platform features a 40” x 18” surface area for mounting anything from coolers, to water jugs, charcoal bags, firewood, cassette toilets, and more. The sides of the top platform are designed with 26 different tie down points for straps, so you can fully secure your gear for the trail. 

Our Otzi ModRack Octagon Tire Face Plate combines maximum surface area with the most versatile mounting hole configuration on the market! Our propriety hole pattern allows you to mount anything from Hi-Lift Jacks, to hatchets, axes, shovels, propane tanks, our Otzi ModRack Road Bag, and more, without any drilling or modification. 

What if I get a flat tire?

Once assembled, you do not need to disassemble the ModRack Overlander Bundle to remove it from your tire, simply release the ratchet strap and you can pull the top platform and wedges off as one unit. 

The ModRack Octagon is attached separately with (4) standard 1” endless loop straps. Release the straps to easily remove the octagon.

After you’ve mounted your flat on your tire carrier, you can re-attach the wedges and top platform to your flat, simply adjusting the wedge slides and tightening the ratchet strap for a snug fit. You can also re-attach the octagon, pulling the ratchet straps tight on the flat tire.

What if I’m in an area where theft is a concern?

No problem! If theft is a concern, a cable lock can be attached to the ModRack Top Platform, Wedges, and Octagon, and then through your wheel.

What’s the weight limit on the ModRack Top Platform?

The weight limit depends on your tire carrier. The ModRack Top Platform and Wedges weigh in at only 21.2 lbs, so if you have a tire carrier with a weight limit of 250 lbs you would simply subtract 21.2 lbs and the weight of your tire to find your top weight limit.
